Hunting in Kätabo

Hunt fallow deer, mouflon, ducks, deer, wild boar, elk and small game.

Hunting is a popular activity in our part of Småland. Here you can hunt elk, deer, mouflon, wild boar, duck and deer. The Swedish Hunting Club, which is open to all hunters, both Swedish and foreign that have hunting training and hunting certificates, has its roots here.

Kätabo hunting lodge, located in Fegen Nature Reserve, offers well-organised hunts in a unique environment. The farm is an old hunting and fishing lodge and its interesting history stretches back to the 1400s. Accommodation is in the form of a timbered hunting lodge or a Småland soldier's croft with an open fire and hunting-inspired décor. For large organised hunts, guest rooms are also available in the manor building.

The land has varied vegetation, with elements of oak and beech forest, brushwood areas with mature deciduous trees such as birch, alder and spruce forest and is partly hilly with many watercourses.

Kätabo Hunting lodge offers fallow deer, mouflon, ducks, roe deer, wild boar, elk and small game hunting. In the farm's enclosure you will find a fine stock of fallow deer, everything from sturdy medal deer to pole and spike bucks, hinds, fawns and large mouflon. The hunt is conducted as a stand hunt from hunting towers for selected game or as a sole hunter, stealth hunting. Driven hunting or a combination of stalking and driven hunting can also be arranged on request.
