Playgrounds

A place for children where only the imagination sets the limits.

In a playground children can play freely and on their own terms. The sizes of the playgrounds vary from those with a single sandpit and a few swings to larger play areas with equipment for children of different ages. The playgrounds in the region are open to everyone and most have tables and benches adjacent for parents to be able to keep a watchful eye on the kids whilst having a coffee & cake.

What we are really want to say is that we have the largest adventure playground in southern Sweden! At Isaberg Mountain Resort you will find a playground full of challenges, obstacle courses and entertainment for the kids. Here, you parents better be stocked up with coffee and even a book, because if the kids have it their way you may be here a while!

Anderstorp

Betesgatan/Moen
This playground, near a grove of trees, includes a swing set, climbing frame with slide, sandpit and a rocking horse. There is also a mowed football field with goals and a barbecue area with seating.

Ekekullen
Anderstorp's largest park contains a large climbing frame with two slides, carousel, swing set with baby swing and sandpit. There are also benches and tables onsite. In winter, this is a popular hill for sledging and also boasts a barbecue area.

Jonsbo, Krokusvägen
A playground that is well protected from traffic. The ground is covered with rubber compound to facilitate accessibility. There are swing sets with a team swing and a baby swing. A climbing frame with slide, swing and sandpit with raised play box. In winter this is a popular hill for sledging. The area also boasts many unusual flower varieties, which is why we mow the grass much later here than in other places. There is also a picnic table.

Vallgatan/Vallplan
This space has both sunny and shady areas under lush trees, as well as picnic tables. There is a swing set with, among other things, a team swing, a climbing frame with slide, a carousel and three rocking horses. There is also a gravelled football pitch.

Broaryd

Dalavägen
This playground can be found in the middle of the residential area. There is a swing set with a baby swing, a flyer swing, a sandpit, and a climbing frame with slide. A picnic table is also available.

Burseryd

Bastugränd
At the top of Bastugränd is a playground next to a small grove. Here you will find a swing set, a climbing frame with a large wide slide, a sandpit and a rocking horse. There is also a bench and table.

Matsgatan
Well protected from traffic, this playground is located between Matsgatan and Sjövägen. The playground is equipped with a swing set, a climbing frame with slide and a sandpit. There are also picnic tables.

Gislaved

Dalenparken
Gislaved's largest green space park beside the river Nissan. There are open green spaces with both sun and shade. There is a football pitch, boules court and Play-Gym for balance, motor skills and strength training. Several benches and plantings.

Gamla Kappeledsvägen
This playground is located inside a nature area next to a bicycle path. The playground is paved with artificial grass and gravel paths. There is a swing set, a climbing frame, a supernova, a sandpit with raised play box, a rocking horse and several pole spinners. There is also a small football pitch and picnic tables.

Holmen
Here you will find swings and a slide, as well as a climbing frame and a sandpit. In addition to the playground, there is also an outdoor gym, four barbecue areas, two of which are in huts. 

Karl-Johansgatan
This playground is located at the bottom of Karl-Johansgatan. The playground includes a swing set, a slide, a rocking horse, a sandpit, and a pole spinner. Picnic tables are also available, the playground is partially adapted for the disabled.

Linnégatan/Trasten
This playground, next to large pine trees, is ideal for all ages, partly surfaced with rubber compound and artificial grass. There is a spontaneous sports area where all kinds of ball sports can be played and a Parkour course to practice on. The playground boasts, among other things, a climbing frame with slides, a swing set with a baby swing and a team swing and a rocking horse. There is also a gazebo to shelter from the weather, a barbecue and a small hill which is ideal for sledging. Allotments and greenhouses that are used by the growers' association can also be found in the vicinity.

Smultronstigen
Here can be found a swing set, a slide, a rocking horse and a small hill for playing or sledging on. There are even two goals for ball games.

Solhemsparken
Solhemsparken is a large mown area with large pine trees. The playground includes a swing set and two climbing frames with slides. Other facilities include a rocking horse and picnic tables.

Trollstigen/Kvickaparken
Here, between Lövstigen and Trollstigen under shady birch trees you will find a playground with a swing set, a sandpit, a climbing frame with slide, a supernova and several pole spinners. There are also two goals on the lawn for ball games.

Hestra

Enevägen
This playground is located along the cycle path well protected from traffic. There are two swing sets, climbing frame with slide, sandpit, two rocking horses. There is also a gravel pitch with goals for ball games, as well as barbecue facilities.

Isaberg's adventure playground

Lingonstigen
Within the residential area lies a playground with a slide, a swing set, a sandpit, a playhouse, a gym bar, a balance beam and a rocking horse. Shade is provided by pine trees.

Milstensvägen
Here you will find a replica of Isaberg Tower with a slide, a playhouse and swings, a table for story times and balance courses. The fall protection base is laid with wood chips. To the south there is also an outdoor gym for training, as well as barbecue facilities.

Reftele

Hjortvägen
Here you will find a swing set with a team swing and baby swing, and a climbing frame with slide. There is also a small grassy area with football goals. The playground is fenced and raised from the road.

Tingshusallén
This children's playground is centrally located in Reftele. There is a swing set with a baby swing, a climbing frame with slide, a sandpit, a very popular flyer swing and two rocking horses. A picnic table and a large lawn area for relaxation.

Skeppshult

Smålandsstenar

Algatan
This playground is protected from traffic and is located next to the cycle path. It includes a swing set, climbing frame with slide, flyer swing, sandpit and a rocking horse. There is also a grass field with goals for ball games.

Radhusgatan
This is a quiet place next to the cycle path near the forest with a swing set, climbing frame with slide, climbing tower, sandpit and two spring rockers. There are also tables and benches and a separate barbecue area.

Skate park
The skate park is cast in concrete with different degrees of difficulty, where you can ride skateboards, scooters or use inline skates.
