Gislaved Symphony Orchestra
Gislaved Symphony Orchestra has a unique composition of professional musicians, talented recreational musicians and talented young people. Gislaved Chamber Choir
Gislaved's Chamber Choir is led by the dynamic conductor Ricky Burton. Under his leadership, the chamber choir has conquered an advanced à capella program for six to eight parts. The choir has toured Denmark, Germany and England. Gislaved's Chamber Choir regularly collaborates with the Gislaved Symphony Orchestra and has collaborated with various singers and musicians, including Titti Sjöblom, Tommy Körberg, Rebecka Törnqvist etc. For more information about concerts and tickets, visit their website.
Gislaved Drum and Drill Corps
Gislaved Drum Corps is a percussion orchestra consisting of about 35 young musicians aged between 12-22 years. The orchestra's different drums, xylophones, marimbas and glockenspiel create wonderful rhythms and melodies. 12 majorettes dance and drill in front of the orchestra. Gislaved's Drum and Drill Corps has received a lot of attention both nationally and internationally and performs at concerts, parades and samba trains around Sweden and abroad. Gislaved Big Band
Gislaved's Big Band has brought jazz and swing music to Småland and the rest of the world for over 50 years. The big band consists of 13 wind players, accompaniment and two singers who play jazz, soul and pop music. Over the years, the big band has collaborated with several Swedish jazz greats, such as Svante Thuresson, Viktoria Tolstoy, Roger Pontare, Anders Berglund, Lill Lindfors and many more.
