The apple cider factory - Broaryd

The apple cider factory in Broaryd

In 2018, Gustav and Camilla started the charming Apple Cider House (Äppelmusteriet) in Broaryd. The idea was to help customers preserve and refine their fruit into delicious cider (must), without additives. From August to October, you can bring your fruit to be pressed. According to Gustav, the tastiest cider comes from mixing several apple varieties with a touch of pear.

Gustav is passionate about sustainability and works actively with “fruit rescue.” If you have an apple or pear tree whose fruit would otherwise go to waste, you can contact the cider house – they will happily come and pick the fruit. For every 50 kg of fruit they collect, you receive 1 liter of cider as thanks.

If you’d like to buy the Apple Cider House’s cider, mulled cider, or freshly spun honey, you can do so at the unmanned seasonal shop located on the steps outside the cider house.

Opening hours: Self-service during late summer, autumn, and winter – see social media for details.
